What cookies are
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. We also use similar browser storage. We use only first-party cookies and storage, plus Stripe's own cookies during payment. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
The cookies and storage we use
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Signing you in | Keeps you signed in as you move between pages. Strictly necessary. | Until you sign out or it expires |
| Your cookie choice | Remembers whether you agreed to optional analytics. Strictly necessary. | 12 months |
| Visitor identifier | A random id so we can count returning visits without knowing who you are. Not linked to a name. | Up to 12 months |
| Your preferences | Remembers things like your chosen area and saved searches, in your browser. | Until you clear it |
| Payments (Stripe) | Set by Stripe during checkout to process the payment and prevent fraud. | Set by Stripe |
Analytics
We run our own analytics instead of sending your browsing to a third party. It records which pages are viewed, what people search for and which events get booked, so we can see what is useful. If your browser sends a "do not track" signal, we do not record it for you.
Embedded feeds
When an event listing or map from the app is embedded on another website, the same first-party storage applies inside it. Maps load tiles from our map provider, which sees your IP address.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the sign-in cookie will stop you signing in. Questions: [email protected].
